Shipping Information
Upon placing your order with The Hens Bag and making payment with your credit card via Paypal, you will receive an email from Paypal confirming your order details and that payment was successful. If for whatever reason you do not receive this email, please contact us via our enquiry form on our website.
All orders are sent from The Hens Bag via Australia Post from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Orders are processed during business hours Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. Shipping information is only relevant to Australian destinations. Postage options can be selected via the shopping cart and costs will be calculated upon checkout. The two options are Registered Post or Express Post.
Registered post can take from 1-5 working days to deliver depending on your location. We obviously cannot take any responsibility for the delivery times once posted. We use registered and express post so that parcels can be tracked throughout the delivery process. Express post timeframes are stipulated on the Australia Post website, generally within 1 post day.
Registered Post
All orders will be dispatched from The Hens Bag within 2 working days from the time your order is placed. Delivery times depend on where your parcel is being sent to. Australia Post can take up to 5 working days from the date the parcel is posted.
Express Post
All orders will be dispatched from The Hens Bag within 1 working day from the time your order is placed. Delivery times depend on where your parcel is being sent to. Australia Post can take up to 2 working days for Express Post to reach your destination. To find out if your destination is guaranteed next day delivery check the Australia Post Express Post Networks on www.auspost.com.au

When will I receive my order?
If your order is placed on a working Monday to Friday, prior to 12pm, we endeavor to ship all orders on that day. All orders are shipped within two working days.
If for some reason your stock for your order is unavailable, we will contact you within one working day.
If your order is placed on a Friday, weekend or public holiday, we will endeavor to ship your order the next working day.
Shipping Times
If you choose the Registered Post delivery option, your order should be delivered within 4-8 working days, depending on where you live.
If you choose Australia Post Express Service and the delivery address is in a Capital city or major metropolitan area, your order should arrive the next normal business day.
Shipping Costs
Shipping fees will vary depending on the weight and size of your purchase and destination. This is calculated at the checkout. We aim to keep the cost of delivery to a minimum. Within this fee, packaging supplies are also calculated.
What happens if an item I purchased sells out and ends up being unavailable?
The Hens Bag will endeavour to supply all orders placed via this site. All products are listed for sale in good faith, but it is possible a supplier may notify us that a product is currently unavailable or discontinued.
Upon receipt of this information from our supplier, our customer service team member will contact you to let you know if an item has been discontinued and will work out with you whether you would like to change your order or cancel it and receive a full refund.
If an item is out of stock, a customer service team member will contact you to let you know how long the delay will be and when we will be able to deliver your order.
